PLEASE CROSSPOST~PLEASE FORWARD~PLEASE NETWORK: The Jefferson County Animal Shelter in Madison, Indiana is overflowing and time is up as early as tomorrow (Thursday) for these two adoptable dogs.
Cobby is an Akita mix. He is a friendly, outgoing fellow. He has soft, medium-length fur and a smile on his face. He is an unneutered, 2-3 year old male weighing approx. 55-60 lbs. He needs some obedience training to learn how to not pull on his leash and other basic commands. But is a good-natured fellow.

Hershey was adopted from us as a puppy. Unfortunately he was tied out and not given the attention he deserved. Hershey was picked up as a stray and the owner relinquished him to us. He is neutered, barely 1 year old, weighs 72 lbs and is a beautiful chocolate color. He also needs obedience training and some socialization to know how to be a member of a family.
Cobby and Hershey received DHPP, Bordatella, and Strongid for deworming upon intake. They will receive a rabies vaccination and health certificate if traveling out-of-state. All other vetting is upon request and the shelter does ask for reimbursement as our medical budget is limited.
We have volunteers willing to transport.
